PPHI Horti Business Trip South Korea 2026
PPHI, in collaboration with TERRA, NUDIRA, and Export Academy, organized the Horti Business Trip South Korea 2026 as part of its commitment to expanding knowledge, strengthening international networks, and fostering collaboration within the modern horticulture sector. The program provided participants with valuable opportunities to explore advancements in smart farming, agricultural technology, and innovative horticultural practices implemented in South Korea.
The itinerary featured visits to several leading horticultural destinations, including the Goyang Flower Festival, Taean International Horticulture Healing Expo, vertical farming facilities, flower nurseries, fruit production farms, and one of South Korea’s major fruit and vegetable wholesale markets. These visits offered firsthand exposure to contemporary production systems, sustainable cultivation practices, and emerging trends in the global horticulture industry.
Through this program, participants gained practical insights into modern horticultural development, sustainable agricultural technologies, and potential opportunities for international cooperation, business expansion, and professional growth within the horticulture sector.

Departure from Jakarta

The journey began with the departure from Jakarta to Incheon, South Korea. Participants gathered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport for registration, travel briefing, and preparations before embarking on the international business trip program.


Goyang Flower Festival

Upon arrival in South Korea, participants traveled to Goyang to visit the renowned Goyang Flower Festival. The festival showcased a wide variety of ornamental plants, landscape designs, floral arrangements, and horticultural innovations. This visit provided valuable insights into the development of the ornamental horticulture industry and international horticultural exhibitions.


Exploring Seoul’s Horticulture and Cultural Heritage

Participants explored several cultural and horticultural destinations in Seoul, including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsangol Hanok Village, and the Cheongnyangni Fruit & Vegetable Traditional Market. The market visit offered a unique opportunity to observe the distribution, marketing, and consumption of fresh horticultural products within the local community.



Vertical Farming and Horticulture Expo

The program continued with a visit to a Vertical Farm facility, where participants learned about innovative cultivation technologies and sustainable urban farming systems. In the afternoon, the group attended the Taean International Horticulture Healing Expo, an international exhibition highlighting the role of horticulture in environmental sustainability, wellness, and community development.


Rose and Strawberry Production Systems

Participants visited Rosepia Flower Distribution Farm in Jeonju to observe commercial flower production and distribution practices. The journey continued to OnNuRi Strawberry Farm in Nonsan, where participants gained insights into modern strawberry cultivation techniques, farm management, and value-added horticultural production systems.

The program concluded with the transfer to Incheon International Airport for the return flight to Jakarta.
