PPHI Horti Business Trip South Korea 2026
PPHI, in collaboration with TERRA, NUDIRA, and Export Academy, organized the Horti Business Trip South Korea 2026 as part of its commitment to advancing Indonesia’s horticulture sector through international learning, collaboration, and professional exchange.
The program brought together horticulture professionals, industry representatives, academics, and business practitioners to explore South Korea’s achievements in smart farming, sustainable agriculture, and modern horticultural technologies. Throughout the eight-day journey, participants visited leading horticultural destinations, international exhibitions, commercial production facilities, and innovation centers to gain practical insights into global best practices and emerging industry trends.
Beyond technical learning, the program also strengthened professional networks and created opportunities for future collaboration between Indonesian and South Korean horticulture stakeholders, supporting the development of a more innovative, competitive, and sustainable horticulture sector.

Departure from Jakarta
The Horti Business Trip South Korea 2026 officially commenced with the departure from Jakarta to Incheon, South Korea. Participants gathered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport for registration, a pre-departure briefing, and final travel preparations before beginning the international learning journey.

Goyang Flower Festival
Participants visited the renowned Goyang Flower Festival, one of South Korea’s leading international horticultural exhibitions. The visit provided valuable insights into ornamental plant displays, landscape design, floral innovation, and the latest developments in the global horticulture industry.

Seoul Cultural & Horticulture Tour
Participants explored Gyeongbokgung Palace and Namsangol Hanok Village before visiting the Cheongnyangni Fruit & Vegetable Market. The market visit offered a firsthand understanding of South Korea’s fresh produce distribution system, local consumer trends, and horticultural marketing practices.

Vertical Farming & Taean International Horticulture Healing Expo
The group visited a Vertical Farm to learn about advanced cultivation technologies and sustainable urban farming systems. The day continued with a visit to the Taean International Horticulture Healing Expo, showcasing the contribution of horticulture to environmental sustainability, public well-being, and community development.

Rosepia Flower Farm & OnNuRi Strawberry Farm
Participants explored Rosepia Flower Distribution Farm to observe commercial flower production and distribution systems before continuing to OnNuRi Strawberry Farm, where they learned about modern strawberry cultivation, greenhouse management, and value-added horticultural production.

Farmkamille Herbal Garden & Garden of Morning Calm
Participants visited Farm Kamille Herbal Garden and the Garden of Morning Calm to experience how horticulture can be integrated with environmental conservation, landscape design, and tourism, creating sustainable and attractive green destinations.

Seoul Exploration & Networking
Participants explored Ikseon-dong Hanok Street and several commercial districts in Seoul. The activities provided opportunities for cultural experiences, market observation, professional networking, and a better understanding of South Korea’s urban lifestyle and consumer trends.

Return to Indonesia
The program concluded with the group’s departure from Incheon International Airport for the return flight to Jakarta. Participants returned home with valuable knowledge, practical experience, and strengthened international networks to support the continued development of Indonesia’s horticulture sector.
